About Us

Oak Valley Golf has been a fixture of the Helotes community since opening in 1987. We are known best for our scenic views, beautiful course, and ice cold beer! Oak Valley has been under new ownership since the beginning of 2023, and our goal is to update and enhance a place we already love. Our vision for the course is to provide a comfortable environment for all ages and stages of golfer, because golf is a lifetime sport. We hope to provide a welcoming and fun experience for all who come out! 

Insiders refer to Oak Valley as "The Goat" for a few reasons. The first is obvious - its the Greatest of All Time! The 30-acre lot the course and driving range are on was once home to a goat ranch, so its a tie to our history. Also, a good reminder not to take your time at our course too seriously - its just a goat pasture! Some say goats symbolize strength and determination, as their robust horns and confident stance embody resilience in the face of adversity.
